Ingredients: Chickpeas, Peeled Beans, Coriander, Hot Red Pepper, Hot Green Pepper, Green Onion, Parsley, Garlic, Sesame Seeds, Salt, Spices (cumin, coriander, black pepper, onion), Leavening Agent: Sodium Carbonate (E500).
Falafel Balls can be fried or baked as per your cooking choice. The healthier way is to bake them in the oven. Plain Falafel Balls are prepared in many different ways.
By Oven:
- Preheat oven to 350°C.
- Spray the pan with a small amount of cooking oil.
- Cook the Falafel Balls for at least 20-25 minutes.
- Drip the oil and serve while hot.
By Frying:
- Preheat the pan to a temperature of 150°C to 160°C.
- Pour in enough cooking oil to submerge each of the Falafel Balls and heat.
- Put in the Falafel Balls and fry for about 4-5 minutes or until the color turns golden brown.
- Take out fried Falafel Balls and let the oil drip or use a paper towel to remove excess oil and serve hot.
